1. How early should I arrive at the airport before my flight?
It is recommended that you arrive at least 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic destinations and 90 minutes for international destinations.
2. What kind of identification will I need?
Passengers who are over 18 years of age will need identification issued by federal or state government that contains your name, date of birth, gender and an expirations date.
3. Can I use an expired driver’s license for identification?
Only current, valid driver’s licenses are accepted. For a complete list of alternative forms of identification, visit www.tsa.gov
4. Can I take my prescription medication in my carry-on?
It is recommended that you carry all medications in your carry-on bag.
5. What does an airline ticket cost?
The airline can provide you will destinations and tickets prices through their website at www.united.com or at 1-800-241-6522.
6. How do I pay for parking?
Short term parking is 70 cents per hour except for the first 30 minutes that are free. Long term parking is $6.30 per day. All major credit cards are accepted.
7. What is the charge for checked bags?
The fee for the first checked bag is $25. The second bag is $35. Go to www.united.com for a complete list of baggage weight charges, discounts, and acceptable bag sizes.
8. Is food for purchase available before entering the security screening area?
A vending area with a variety of hot and cold foods plus beverages is in the terminal. A beverage machine is also available in the secure gate area.
9. What is the cost of a taxi to downtown and the mall?

10. Are wheelchairs available at the airport?
This service is provided by the airline. Make arrangements in advance when you make your airline reservation. Airplane boarding at Barkley Regional is by a ramp, not stairs.
